Standalone battery-powered temperature data logger for monitoring calorifier storage temperatures, sentinel outlet temperatures and cold-water storage tank temperatures as part of an L8 ACOP monitoring programme. The IP68-rated housing withstands immersion. Data is downloaded via USB to the Tinytag Explorer software for report generation.
HSE ACOP L8 requires care home operators to monitor and record hot and cold water temperatures at defined frequencies. Manual dip testing is time-consuming and records can be lost or falsified. Tinytag data loggers provide a tamper-evident electronic record that can be produced at CQC inspection as evidence of a compliant monitoring programme. HSG 274 Part 2 recommends electronic monitoring for calorifier and distribution temperatures.
Temperature range -40°C to +85°C; accuracy ±0.35°C; logging interval user-defined (1 second to 18 hours); IP68 waterproof; USB download; battery life up to 5 years; UKAS calibration certificate available.
