Commercial kitchen floors in care homes must meet food hygiene legislation (Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations 2013) and EHO inspection criteria, which require a smooth, impervious, cleanable surface. Ceramic tile with grout joints does not meet this requirement to EHO standard. Peran SL with aggregate provides R12 slip resistance for kitchen use while remaining seamless and easily cleaned.
