Q3 Legionella monitoring logs due by end of July key dates for care providers

Quarterly L8 monitoring records must be completed and signed off by 31 July. HSE inspectors are currently active in the North West and Yorkshire regions.

Why this matters

Incomplete records are treated as evidence of non-compliance regardless of whether any actual risk exists. Get your logs in order before the end of the month.

What to do
  • 1Complete Q3 temperature monitoring logs and have them signed by your responsible person before 31 July.
  • 2Cross-check that sentinel outlet records are up to date and no results are missing.
  • 3If you have any remedial actions outstanding from Q2, log and close them before the Q3 sign-off.
