CareHomeDesk uses only strictly necessary cookies -- the kind required to keep you signed in and to maintain your session while you use the Platform. We do not currently use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies of any kind.
Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) -- these cookies are essential to the service you've asked for. If that changes in future, we'll add a consent mechanism before any non-essential cookie is set, not after.

These are strictly necessary -- the Platform cannot function without them, since they're what keeps you logged in as you move between pages.
Some tools on the Platform (for example, the Fire Door Checker) use your browser's local storage -- not a cookie -- to hold data like in-progress reports and photographs on your own device. This never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data will remove it.
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there isn't a preference toggle to manage -- disabling them in your browser will simply prevent you from staying signed in. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings if you wish.
If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie in future, we'll update this page and add a consent banner before that cookie is ever set -- not describe one that doesn't exist. We may also update this policy from time to time for accuracy; material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
